Shoemaker Levee

Shoemaker Levee is an original alternative/indie band with a unique style of anthemic, introspective rock that draws musical inspiration from sources vast and diverse; classical, progressive, alternative, folk, and others.

“The band’s latest album, Phase of the Days, brings their prog rock vibe cooking through your speakers offering extremely tight musicianship and hints at bands such as Blues Traveller, Widespread Panic, and Phish.” says Andre Skinner of The Spill Magazine. “This talented group from Newmarket, Ontario hit the studio with authority and dish out a remarkable album.”

Shoemaker Levee has played numerous downtown Toronto venues ranging from the El Mocambo, The Reverb, The OperaHouse, The Horseshoe Tavern, Lee’s Palace and the Rivoli, which was the home of their sold-out studio release Whynd (2001). More recently they have performed at York Pridefest in Newmarket, ON, and the 38th Annual Terry Fox Run in Toronto, ON to unveil new material.
