Jay Kutcher

Jay Kutcher is determined to become a household name in Country music – not just in Canada, but beyond! Jay has made numerous trips to Nashville for co-writing sessions and has been working hard to bring his music to people. He performed songs from this first Country EP to a packed house at the Plaza Theater in Montreal back in November, and now has a busy summer of concerts ahead of him.

Since the release, Jay has been receiving airplay on country stations across Canada: his debut single “Another You,” reached the #41 on the Mediabase Country charts, which is an amazing accomplishment.

His song “Whiskey Kinda Guy”, co-written with Alli Walker, is being played, not only in Canada, but also in the United States and in numerous other countries in the world. It also reached #4 on Top Of the Country on Sirius XM.

With more than 350 000 streams, his debut EP is a collection of songs for all country pop fans, to be discovered on stage, in the company of six renowned musicians and background singers (one of them being his brother.)

Jay’s new single, “Happy Hour”, was written and composed on a sofa, a beer in hand after a huge day of music camp, Bobby John and Jay were contemplating how life changed fast and how happy hour with a family now means it’s the little time they get before the routine starts again.

They contemplated how different it is from back then, but how they wouldn’t change a thing because they love to see their wives and kids dance and cheer to a happy hour.  The lyrics and music came out naturally, and after only one session, they had their hit song. They then asked Eric Collard, a multidisciplinary artist, to join as a co-producer and mixer.

The next step was to call on renowned musicians from Nashville to play on the single : Jake Widenhofer (guitar), Adam Cunningham (basse), Whit Wright (pedal steel) and Chris Krimmerer (drums).

And finally, to preserve the true Nashville sound, they recorded the song after Jay went to Nashville (to get in the mood, find influences and feelings for the lyrics) plus they had Ted Jensen, master it. “Happy Hour” is the perfect song to unwind with and we know you are going to love it!

AM to FM Promotions is thrilled to be working Jay’s singles to Canadian Country Radio.
