Chase Stevens is an award winning singer/songwriter from Mississauga, Ontario. Recognized for his heartfelt lyrics and visual imagery, Chase says his songwriting style is a blend of New Country and Singer/Songwriter, or as he likes to call it “Troubadour Country”.

Currently working on songs for his 3^rd album, after the release of “Trespassing Castles”, which yielded several singles including “Another Little Roadside Kiss”, “Gypsy Wind”, and “Taking Pictures off the Wall”. All of which reached #1 on the Canadian Indie Country Chart. And won awards in Holland, Atlanta and Mississauga.

“As Good As It Gets” is the first single from the upcoming album and once again Chase worked with a group of “A List” session musicians in Nashville. He says, “I love working with this group of players not only for their incredible musicianship but also for their intuition in interpreting what I am trying to create. It’s very cool to go into a recording session with  a working track of just me and my guitar and walk out of the studio with close to a finished recording, it really is magical”.

Chase made his first venture to Nashville about 12 years ago to “check out the whole songwriting scene” and hasn’t looked back. In addition to making 2 or 3 trips a year down there, he has been hosting Nashville style songwriter nights at the legendary Moonshine Café in Oakville for the past 6 years.

Depuis sa toute première aventure à Nashville, il y a 12 ans, Chase n’a jamais regardé en arrière. En plus d’y  faire de 2 à 3 voyages par année, il anime des soirées d’écriture genre Nashville au célèbre café Moonshine à Oakville depuis 6 ans.  

“As Good As It Gets” est le premier single de son 3e album et encore une fois, Chase s’est entouré d’artistes renommés pour ses sessions à Nashville. “J’aime travailler avec ce groupe d’artistes non seulement pour leur excellente musicalité mais aussi pour leur intuition dans l’interprétation de ce que j’essaie de créer.  C’est vraiment cool d’arriver à une session d’enregistrement avec un début de composition et ma guitare et d’en ressortir avec un produit presque fini, c’est vraiment magique”.
