The Sun Harmonic is a three- piece Canadian rock n’ roll band – the classic guitar, bass and drums outfit. The band consists of  Indie veteran and frontman Kaleb Hikele, with rhythm section Dave Skrtich and Ian McLennan. They are old friends and seasoned Ontario based musicians.

The band has transformed the stage pseudonym which began in 2009 as a solo outfit. They are now bringing a faster, louder rock and punk sound to the stage and recording studio. The Sun Harmonic is the recipient of 2024’s FCLMA award for Ontario Independent Recording Artist

The 7th Sun Harmonic studio album is set to be released in 2025, ushered in by the first sing-along single “Homesick” and followed up by the rock anthem “Glory Days.”

“Glory Days” is a driving rock and roll song about the struggles and triumphs of life, whether your best days are behind you or happening right now. The song was first written in a furniture delivery van, working a manual labour job and daydreaming about the glory days. Recorded live-off-the-floor, the song captures the raw energy and spirit of their punk and hard rock influences.

The Sun Harmonic est un groupe de musique rock canadien composé de trois musiciens, le groupe classique : guitare, basse et batterie. Le groupe est composé du vétéran de la musique Indie et leader Kaleb Hikele (guitare) et de la section rythmique Dave Skrtich (batterie)et Ian McLennan (basse). Ce sont de vieux amis et des musiciens chevronnés basés en Ontario.

Le groupe, fondé en 2009, utilise le pseudonyme d’un projet solo. Ils apportent maintenant un son plus fort, plus rapide et punk sur scène et en studio. The Sun Harmonic a reçu le prix d’artiste indépendant de l’Ontario de la FCLMA (Forest City London Music Awards) en 2024.

Le 7e album studio de The Sun Harmonic devrait sortir en 2025 inauguré par le premier single Homesick, sorti en février 2025, et suivi de leur hymne rock, Glory Days. 

Glory Days est une chanson rock’n roll entraînante au sujet des difficultés et des triomphes de la vie, que vos meilleurs jours soient derrière vous ou qu’ils se déroulent dans le moment présent. La chanson a été écrite dans une camionnette de livraison de meubles lorsque je travaillais en tant qu’ouvrier et que je rêvais à de meilleurs jours, des jours glorieux. Enregistrée en direct, elle capture l’énergie brute et l’entrain de leurs influences punk et hard rock.
